Dr. Nicole Cheng was born in Hong Kong and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management and completed her prerequisites for veterinary school at Baruch College. She worked as a necropsy technician and histology lab specialist for a few years prior to attending veterinary school. Dr. Cheng obtained her doctorate at St. George’s University in Grenada and completed her clinical year at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. Following her graduation in 2017, Dr. Cheng returned to New York City to practice small animal medicine. She has a special interest in anatomical pathology and soft tissue surgery.
During her free time, she enjoys traveling for food, hiking, cooking/baking, and reading. She has 3 cats, a calico named Mittens, a tuxedo named Baiji, and Bobi (who will ‘high-five’ for snacks).
